The New York Post is reporting today that Newtown gunman Adam Lanza wore earplugs during the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School last month and “never heard the terrified screams.”
Investigators have reportedly been haunted and perplexed by this detail, with one source telling the Hartford Courant, “It’s just weird given what he was about to go do.”
Lanza shot his mother at their home before killing 20 schoolchildren and 6 adults at the school.
