Apple announced Tuesday that its computers were hacked in a similar style attack to the one that targeted Facebook last week.
Only a small number of employee computers were breached and no user information was stolen, Apple said. Facebook revealed Friday that it was the target of a sophisticated attack traced to China.
Apple is working with law enforcement officials to track down the culprits behind the hack.
