n control,” Wayne LaPierre, the NRA’s Vice President said on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday. “I don’t think it will work.” Instead of giving into calls for more gun control, LaPierre reiterated the suggestion he made at a presser Friday, that all U.S. schools should have armed guards. Senator Diane Feinstein of California’s push to reinstate the now-expired assault weapons ban will do nothing to protect children, LaPierre insisted.
